Microscope Immersion Oil
This product is based around a careful blend of chlorinated oils giving it an ideal refractive index of 1.516. Being very close to the refractive index of glass, this oil minimises the number of refractive boundaries encountered by the image, as it passes through the sample and into the objective lens. This results in a clearer, higher quality image. Scuddlebutt3 Immersion Oil is packed in convenient 25 and 100ml size dropper bottles for ease of application. Immersion oil can only be used by microscopes which have an immersion lens. Larger quantities are available on request.
