New product: - Today we launch a new fluorescent dye starter kit: The Deluxe Plus kit. This contains everything in the Deluxe kit but in larger quantities, plus an extra fluorescent dye, sulphorhodamine B. Check out our Fluorescent Dyes page for details.

The industrial action by UK postal workers which has been disrupting deliveries has been called off at least until the new year. There may be some small delays while backlogs of post are cleared but apart from that, we are delighted that deliveries should now be back to normal. Thanks to all of our customers for your patience.

The United Kingdom is currently facing a series of Strikes by postal workers: The latest round of UK postal strikes is due to begin on Thursday the 29th of October. A series of one day strikes will affect various UK postal centres from Thursday to Saturday. More details can be found on this link (BBC) or this link (Royal Mail). It is likely that the strike action and its aftermath will cause delays in deliveries to UK and overseas customers. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. During the dispute period we will be doing all we can to make sure goods are delivered with a minimum of delay, including the use where practical of signed-for or special delivery services, or the use of other carriers.

Today we are introducing a new microscopy stain to our range. Congo Red is an excellent stain for elastin and for amyloid plaques. It is also used for polysaccharides and bacteria.

New product: We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our popular sample container range by introducing a 250ml size container. This is in addition to our existing containers in 5, 20, 60, 90 and 120ml sizes. We have also introduced a two mixed selections of containers.
