Rocking Microtome
The Scuddlebutt3 rocking microtome is a simple to use microtome capable of producing sections down to 5 microns for wax embedded plant and animal tissues etc. Calibrated in 2-micron divisions, the section cutting thickness can be set easily and quickly by a single control, while the cutting stroke is controlled by a single control lever. Complete with pre sharpened knife, specimen chucks and full operating instructions.
A
disposable knife holder assembly is available for those not wishing to sharpen
knives. This is a serious microtome at an affordable price.
